Employed!

I am officially an intern at RGI Events in Georgetown! RGI Events is a small boutique event planning/pr company that plans mostly large scale/smaller scale corporate events as well as nonprofit events. I'll be working there three days out of the week and doing some at home work as well. If you are interested in learning more about RGI Events and what they do, click! I'll also be working with another summer intern. I'm so excited to be part of an event planning company and really start a job in a field that I really love! Hooray! (: I'll be documenting most of my internship through here and other activities as well. Wish me luck at my first big internship! 

love pumpkin date

yesterday, Vicki came over to hang out. we haven't seen each other in the longest time and it was great to have a love pumpkin date! since northern virginia is so boring, we didn't end up doing much. we tried our luck at thrifting at the Goodwill close to my home but they didn't have any great finds. afterwards we drove to a korean bakery named Breeze and shared a pancake pastry filled with blueberry filling, which was a bit sweeter and more filling than i expected. afterwards, we decided to invest in some new lip colors and headed to CVS to see what we could find. Vicki bought a red lipstick and we both bought a lip tint/moisturizer from Sally Hansen in the same color. I bought myself a new concealer and a pink shade of lipstick from Rimmel (product pictures and reviews to come soon!). We ended our date by going back to my house and sitting on the porch and drinking strawberry lemonade and catching up. days like this, i wish i had my own home with a nice porch/deck and yard to host friends and family for drinks and great food. hopefully, one day!
