I cannot believe that I am posting a One Direction song on here... but I do have two sisters who are a bit obsessed with the group. My youngest sister introduced me to this song and we've been blasting it nonstop on our stereo system and dancing and singing along all over the house! I usually don't like most of their music, but this is the one exception. The lyrics are cute and pretty relatable on a surface level basis... I could definitely drive around my car with this song blasting. The tune is so catchy! (:

If you didn't know already, I am a huge Miley Cyrus fan. It's a not so secret obsession of mine. I don't know why, but the fact that she's only 7/8 months younger than me and has achieved so much in life inspires me! Also, the fact that she's a total badass who doesn't give two poops about your opinion and has changed her entire style is awesome! See, the girl crush factor is coming out. This song, "We Can't Stop" is definitely my guilty pleasure. It's so catchy that you HAVE to sing along to it! The video, I don't know what she's doing... actually i think the video is a bit disturbing... but still. Miley, you continue to rock my socks off!

A little bit of a throwback, this song was stuck in my head all of yesterday! Why don't we have music like this anymore? This song is a great dance track and I'm sure we've heard a lot of different remixes of this song but the original version is perfect! Can you believe that this song came out in 1995? I was only three years old... but hey, 90s throwback music is wonderful! I've been in an 80s/90s music kick lately, especially with motown! Who doesn't love some great motown music? Enjoy, bloggers! Ladies and Gentlemen... this song is pure fire! I mean, can you hear the bass and all the beats? I haven't been an avid listener/follower of Iggy Azalea, but this artist is definitely one of a kind. Leaning more towards the underground indie hip hop scene, she is an up and coming female rapper who definitely can hold her own. Take a listen to this song "Murda Bizness" featuring the oh so handsome T.I. If you like hard beats and a nice romp shaker, this song will definitely get you hype!

The song I am currently in love with at the moment. I think we all want to be Beyonce sometimes, and if you're like me... I always want to be her. She exudes confidence and seems to really have a great personality. Not to mention, she is also all about womyn's rights! I mean, some of her songs are all about womyn power and being a strong womon! After finding this song, I was completely obsessed with it. As soon as it comes on I have the biggest urge to get up and dance! The all around female anthem for playing the fellas and not getting your heart broken. I'm going to say this is the anthem for any heartbreaker (catch my pun? hahaha). "Constant Conversations" - Passion Pit

This song has been on repeat almost every day since the first time I heard it. Something about this song just screams summertime jam, to me. Seriously, put this on while you're hanging out with friends on your deck or porch sipping on a few summer ales... it just sets the mood and it is perfect!

"Angels" - The XX

The XX has finally released their new single, "Angels", the opening song on their sophomore album, Coexist. I've been waiting for them to release something new and this song definitely does not disappoint. I'm excited to hear what the rest of the album sounds like. The XX always has this way of making sultry music that hits you somewhere deep in the pit of your emotions. It's like they've captured your deepest thoughts and transferred them with the perfect melody and they do it so effortlessly that you aren't even ashamed of your insecurities but you can finally admit them.
