Must See: Before Midnight

Fair warning, if you've never heard of this movie it is the third installment in a series created in 1995 titled "Before Sunrise". If you haven't watched the two movies that lead up to this one, you don't have to but it will definitely give you more of a background to the characters so that you will understand the story even more, although it isn't necessary.

I watched the movie last week when visiting Tyler. "Before Midnight" pulled me in right away. It may take a while for viewers to get into the swing of a movie that is mostly dialogue and has a lot of long shots focusing on the main couple, Jesse and Celine. What I really enjoyed about the film was through out the movie, I had to keep reminding myself I was watching one. The way director, Richard Linklater, filmed them made me feel as if I was there observing everything and standing there watching as the character's lives unfolded. The dialogue was amazing. I don't want to say too much, since it's one of those types of plots that needs to be watched besides explained.

"Before Midnight" made me appreciate and understand our journey through life a little bit more. If you have not yet watched this movie, it is a must see. You can watch the trailer below to get a better understanding of what this movie is all about.

"Before Midnight" gives me a feeling of realness. The way Jesse and Celine argue with each other seems as though the movie is unscripted; making me feel as though I could easily place myself in one of their shoes and know exactly what they are talking about or how they are feeling. It's this strange sense of familiarity that you've had a conversation so similar to this with a significant other or with your close friends...
