Un viaje con mi familia en Cancun, Mexico!

This past week, I vacationed in Cancun, Mexico with my family, my aunt and uncle and cousin and another one of my aunts and cousin on my dad's side. It was one of the first family vacations that we've taken with my dad's side of the family and we stayed at Hard Rock Cancun since one of my uncles is a member there. The weather was wonderful the entire week - I'm talking hot and sunny every single day and never a cloud in the sky. The vacation was filled with endless amounts of food and alcohol (hehe*)

We arrived in Cancun a little after 12pm on Sunday and was quickly brought to the Hard Rock Cancun to check in. Most hotels there are all inclusive, and this one was no different. We started off our vacation with buffet lunch and pina coladas! Yum! The hotel was filled with various activities, such as the infinity pool, private beach, over 5 different restaurants, Smash Bar Lobby (which had games, a bar, pool tables, etc), a night club and even more! The only downfall was that waking up at 9am every single day and spending our days lounging around the beach and pool while eating and drinking made us extremely tired to even stay up and try to go to the nightclub that the hotel offered.

It is safe to say that everyone on the trip returned extremely tan and maybe even a bit sunburned! The pool at the hotel was heated and had a bar on either side so guests could enjoy their endless drinks and the ocean water was beautiful! The beach in Cancun offered clear blue water and great waves to entertain you. Also, the best part was the sand bar in the middle of the ocean that we could swim out to, which was much more shallow and had less of a strong tide. Some activities we were able to partake in down at Cancun was a "Jungle Tour" which included driving speed boats to a remote location for snorkeling (where we all were able to see a large Baracuda!), swimming with dolphins and having a mini photo shoot with photographers provided by the hotel. Being in Cancun, Mexico really fueled my traveling itch... especially when we were passing through immigration in Mexico; I made it a point to fill my entire passport with stamps from countries all over the world. Hooray for wanderlust! But enough writing, the pictures we took should speak for themselves. Enjoy!
